How reviews work
This page explains who can review a doctor or clinic on ArabiaMD, what we do and do not do with reviews, and what the ratings mean.
Who can write a review
- Anyone with an ArabiaMD account can review a doctor or clinic they have visited. You sign in at the end, before the review is saved.
- We do not check that a visit took place. A review is one person’s account of their own visit.
- Each review shows the reviewer’s display name and the month it was posted.
What we never do
- We never pay for a review or offer anything in return for one.
- We never ask only patients who are likely to be happy to leave a review.
- Doctors and clinics cannot edit, hide or delete reviews on ArabiaMD.
- Whether a doctor or clinic has claimed its profile does not change which reviews are shown.
What you can do with your review
- You can delete your own review from your profile at any time.
- When a review is deleted, we keep a record of the deletion and the reason given.
What the ratings mean
- Each review gives an overall score from 1 to 5. Doctor reviews also score staff, punctuality, helpfulness and knowledge. Clinic reviews also score cleanliness, services, facilities and value.
- The ArabiaMD rating on a profile comes only from ArabiaMD reviews.
- Some profiles also show a rating and reviews from Google. These are labelled as Google’s and are never part of the ArabiaMD rating.
How to report a review
If you think a review is fake, unlawful or shares someone’s private information, email support@arabiamd.com with a link to the profile and the reason. Doctors and clinics can use the same address.
