See More General Information Developmental Pediatric Services Our Developmental Pediatrician Dr Shola Faniran provides regular medical care, treatment and follow-up appointments for children between the ages of infancy to 18. With a special emphasis on preventative medicine, our center aims to promote healthy lifestyle and wellbeing of all of our patients. The Pediatrician carries out routine medical check-ups, orders further tests or assessments, and prescribes treatment for both acute and chronic illnesses and/or diseases. At Child Learning and Enrichment Medical Center, we consider a holistic approach to medicine in order to encourage the healthy development of the child. Parents may be referred from hospitals, medical staff, clinics and/or nurseries. A formal referral is not necessary to be treated at Child Learning and Enrichment Medical Center, thus anyone can make a request or initiate services. Our goal is to assist parents and families in planning for and providing safe experiences in the home and community in order to encourage growth and development of children. At Child Learning and Enrichment Medical Center, our staff provides initial and on-going assessments in order to understand the developmental needs of your child. We then provide an Individualized Education Plan to outline the course of intervention, identify resources and deliver support for the family. Ongoing monitoring of the patient’s developmental milestones are taken at regular intervals. Our clients may include those with: - Down Syndrome - Cerebral Palsy - Cognitive Disabilities - Autism-Spectrum Disorders - Speech and Communication Disorders - Genetic Syndromes - Chromosomal Anomalies - Physical Disabilities - Birth-related Traumas - Any other Disabling Condition, Disease or Impairment to Development
